Barberton ; Any sour notes ?
I attended Barberton Tourney last week . Besides " blacked out " scoreboards , everybody was talking about the batter boxes . It was like hitting out of a slippery 6 inch hole in the ground . Many players were complaining about the footing . One of our guys fell (he was not the only one) while swinging & received a small hemotoma on his wrist & was bleeding . The place actually takes you down memory lane from whence many ballparks in the 50's & 60's were situated up & down a street . Other than those 2 issues , we had a good time with " Red "......So so tired of playing in big tournaments with no scoreboards.

I played in league there going back to 2005, and have never seen a scoreboard in use. Not sure if they even work.

And the holes in the boxes there are historically awful. In general the complex there is fine, though not really any amenities, but what you saw has been around for years that I know of.
