Wishing Mike Kelly the best after his surgery
Thought guys might like to know that MIke had a serious surgery this week and you might want to give him a get well soon. Its not my place to discuss what it was for, but thought some of his friend here would like to know. Good luck from your Wisconsin friends.

Hey guys,

Mike's home already from having a bad
polyp removed from a section of his colon
along with enough of the colon to be sure
they got it all.
He had a great doctor from Kaiser named Saenz
at Kaiser Vallejo
who's now, 201 for 201 performing such operations
and he's looking forward to a full recovery
with final test results coming in a couple of days.
Mike's grateful for all the phone calls
and emails.
You can reach him at his new address;
mike@kellysultimatesports.com.
to say hi or wish him a speedy recovery.
Mike's just a great guy and vulnerable as we all
are to this kind of surgery especially after 50
and says don't avoid being scoped.

Get well, soon
Mikey

Hey Guys,

Thanks for all the well wishing and prayers.
The best of news for Mike and his family.
All biopsy results negative.
Woooohooooo.
They caught it early enough and
that appears to be the key.
Don't avoid getting scoped.
Don't put it off, says Mike.
He finally listened to his wife
and had a check up and
it saved his life.

Welcome back, Mikey.

Thanks to all those who have called, emailed and posted on this board in regards to my recent colon surgery. Glad to say that my dr. reports that he feels he got all the cancer out and on monday i go to see if cheemo is really nessasary in my case or not.
I waited longer then i should have to do the colonoscophy and would advise if i may to all listening to have this procedure done at least 1 time a year if over 50 years of age. If you get it in the polyp stage then you avoid the major surgery, wait until it becomes a tumor and you go under the knive.
I will be bringing the Kelly's Team up to Oregon in early august, Palm Springs and Vegas later September. Hope to see some of you guys there.
Thanks again for all your conerns.

Doctor confirmed Tuesday that i have a stage 1 cancer which is as good as it gets and that neither cheemo nor radiation is needed. They gave a 95% chance of surfival for 5 years which is again as good as it could have been.
I will look forward to seeing you again in palm springs as it has been awhile since i last saw you.
thanks for your concern.
