| Aug. 9, 2012 FranDowell 2 posts | I want to take a moment to express our appreciation for the wonderful outpouring of prayers, support and compassion from the Senior Softball community over the past several days. Softball is a huge Family that we are honored to be a part of. Dave's Dad is in his last days in Scottsdale after having lived a truly marvelous life for 86+ years. He has seen much of the world and was an avid spectator at the SSUSA World Championships in Phoenix for the past few years. All four of his children, most of his 11 grandchildren and even two of his three great-grandchildren have visited him recently. Everyone is at peace with this transition. Dave and I cannot thank you enough. |

My Dad passed away on Sunday evening, quietly and in the company of his four children. His passing was peaceful and the perfect end to a very fulfilled life.
