Phoenix winter worlds
Two players from Marauder 50's, Canada looking to play in Phoenix as Marauders are not going this year. Can we hook onto a team that needs players and if so what are the rules.Marauders will be playing in next years worlds in Vegas, so it would be just be to help out someone that is short this year. We will be down golfing in Phoenix at that time, but wanted to play some ball too.Can anyone help us out? Murray p.s. we are classified as Major

I don't know if i'm doing this right because i'm computer illiterate, but Gary 19 you're my kind of man.I'm Canadian and i know baseball is you guys's sport, but i've played it since little league in Canada, and i think i know a little about the game. I've come down to the states for twenty years playing against you guys, and i love competing against you, because this is your game, and if we can squeak out a win or two against you,or win a tournament , that makes our day as a team. But what happened to the game of baseball in our twilight years. We use hot bats, even though our skills and reflexes have diminished, and the pitchers look like something out of Mad Max.You never see a lot of great plays by senior players because the ball is by them before they can react. We allow 7 homeruns in Major, and then every one after that is a walk which is a joke, because the game is won by how many guys can jog around the base more than you, without anyone making a play.( and the umpires run out of balls which delay the game) I know we're country bumpkins, but our men's "A" in Canada allow 7 homeruns and then every one after is an OUT. Make them keep it in the park so the fielders can make a play, and make use of your 7 home-runs or it could cost you the game.Get back to the older bats, so the true power hitters can hit a legitimate 310 or 320 shot, and the rest can win it with base-hits, or get robbed by a great play to lose it. Just saying guys.....what do you think, let's get back to the real GAME of baseball.

Most of that is because it is now a business orientated so called game we now play. Personally I'd like it the way it was 20 years ago. Unlimited everything, players on roster, time limits, what were those? hr's, even the alloy bats were good with the balls back then.

Think you can only hook up with a team from up north someplace.
Send Bash a note requesting little help with an ad up there on his site. I think he will accommodate.

Highlight it select google to open it in another window and it's the top one listed.
Or copy and paste to either of the search bars on top of the page main one or the google one still should be first on top of screen.
Or post your email addy here and I'll sent it to Bash and have him contact you.

Sent Bash a note but know a few of the Ruth teams are there and will be in St g as I mentioned on the other post.
Doubt i'll be in PHX either, cost is over my head. I'd bet Bash will be though.

I gave him your board name but since you really didn't provide what it was about it may be long in coming as I mentioned.

That is what I thought but I didn't mention it because I was unsure. If he reads the post you have here he will see it. Just don't count on it soon due to his playing the next couple weeks.
I know PHX is coming up but you should hear in time.
He also spends much of any spare time taking photos at all the events he goes to, so that could be another reason for delay.
Good luck because the only teams I have seen them look for players was for St G a couple years ago.
