Hey Guys and Gals I was at Arroyo Grande Sunday to watch the Women and 60M Men (since D&K 60M+ was knocked out Saturday evening) and witnessed an inside the park home run also. It was hit by 55 year old woman. Debra Hibbler of the Silver Foxes 50+. She hit the right field line and was off to the races. No errors! Also I witnessed one of the best catches that has been made in senior softball. It was made by a 50 yr. old woman in left field. The ball was hit well. I was sure that it was over her head. The lady turn and ran, I mean ran the ball down, Just ask the guys who played for Tenn, Over the Edge 60 major, we all went up to her and congratulated her on a great catch,. I must say that if you ever get a chance to observe any of our senior ladies play, you will enjoy yourself. Go out and see and support them. Bye the way….I did see a few 300’ home runs hit by a couple of Girls from Virginia. They may not be as physical as men but these old girls can still play. Kennard |
