Its funny, our team has been talking about just that. Thats the only way they could hang with you guys! One of their guys came into a restaurant Sunday night, he recognized me. He told me me they lost by 1 run. I went back to my table about told 2 of my teammates that you must have played on the diamond with the wind blowing in.

silk11, Are you saying the NM Laser's performance was wind aided? I did pray once on Friday and then everything started going right until the Hawaiians knocked us out. Funny thing is- somebody saw them praying after our game in dugout. Those cheaters!

Ha ha. That's funny. Some of the teams were so big I thought we were David versus Goliath. I almost picked up a stone; but since I had been missing the cutoff all tournament I knew it would backfire.

Bob-I'm amazed-after watching you all these years, I didn't know you knew what a cutoff man was!!! I learn every day. LOL

Webbie's idea of a cutoff is the backstop or fence. He can usually hit those.

Thanks, Webbie. It's my infielders' fault. They're too short. I can barely see them. Oh. Now, I know why they're called cutoffs.

I admire all the short players...they (we) make the game exciting! Ha,Ha...Fabe

Bob, that's also why we have 10 defensive players. It increases the chances that one of my throws might actually find a glove on the field, somewhere....

I play outfield like I play pool. I never call my shots. That way if it goes to the pitcher or third baseman, I can say, "Yeah. That's where I was aiming". It only gets complicated when I throw it to the left fielder.
