2 video reviews of 2013 DeMARINI Senior One Softball Bat
All the senior bats on the market are great products and we end up swinging a bat that fits our needs and body type. I was in Phoenix last week and hit for 3 days with Steve Imlay, and some other very good senior hitters. All the senior bats hit very well..our group had a Miken maxload, Ambush, Reebok, and White Centenarian..and some DeMarini Senior Ones.
I feel the DeMarini is one of the best kept secrets among the current senior bats. I really like tatooball's White Centenarian alot, but after swinging Miken Ultra Maxloads for 7 years, I switched this season to a Demarini One. Steve Imlay and I each did a separate review of the product. The clips have our comments and show us hitting the bat. Steve's review is first, mine is second. They are hosted on youtube. Copy and paste the link if it doesn't click and play, if your interested in seeing them.

After breaking both my U2's in Phoenix-Steve Imlay gave me one of his DeMarini's to use. I loved it! Plenty of pop-I think I am through with Mikens after 15 broken in 3 yrs. I just watched the reviews and I concur totally. Line drives were sharp and distance was easily there.

I have hit this bat all last year.. it has it's pluses and a few negatives..

first the pluses,

when you nut it, it goes as far as anything out there..

Durability, I would rank it at the top!

Doesnt' spider at all!

cool color!

Negative!

softer balls don't come off it as well as Reeboks IMO

Stiff bat

they only have midloads.. as of 2012

no 29 ounce bats

Two piece bat. might not be a negative to some!

Bottom line, this is a very good bat and it might suit your needs...

I wish there were more video reviews like these two where the hitter actually describes the bat and why he likes it. Both guys have polished swings and have sold me to get the 2013 version. I have a 2012 27oz I love, and am going to try a 28 or 30.
