Nov. 19, 2012 LeeLee 86 posts | how do i contact you |
Nov. 19, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | email me at chapsteven4@aol.com |
Nov. 19, 2012 wagon487 Men's 55 578 posts | 375 plus shipping, you got to be kidding me.....that's an ebay price. You might get 210....and have to pay for shipping..... |
Nov. 19, 2012 swanny22 Men's 55 10 posts | Lee Lee, Mike Swanson I have a new yellow combat 27oz. I would sell for 300.00 no shipping call me @ (916)240-1295. |
Nov. 19, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | I can wait as they become more scarce..the price will go up,,I have found this bat to hit with a larger sweet spot than the ultras and be more durable too..also have a 28 that I d hate to part with but will if the price is right |
Nov. 20, 2012 wagon487 Men's 55 578 posts | More scarce? they are already very hard to find, almost impossible. They are not harder to find then the ASA stamped Ultra from 2004, and they only go for about 210-225. Some people say that's the best senior bat ever made. I swing the yellow combat. I have two, both 26. One is a ten inch barrel the other is 13 inches. i hit the grey combat and the new ambush just as well as the yellow. So i'm selling the two yellow combats. 215 shipped....... |
Nov. 20, 2012 mad dog Men's 65 4190 posts | wagon i'm with you...$375 for an unwarranted bat plus pay for shipping,really.......i can get 2 niw senior bats for that....looks like ebay is working its way to the senior board..... |
Nov. 20, 2012 LeeLee 86 posts | swanny I will call you |
Nov. 20, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | well at least someone will make a sale on my post...my combats are the long barrel |
Nov. 20, 2012 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | Personally I think a better answer for a bat at 400 is two other new bats, not almost new...lol. What is almost anyway...wrapper on but was hit with, 10 hits, 2 dozen, but hair line fractures in the 'paint', who the hell knows ones definition. |
Nov. 20, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | well I was laid off from my fulltime job and can only find pt work at a great loss of income to me and family...just trying to pay my bills any way I can |
Nov. 20, 2012 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | It is too the american way. Quite frankly I do not blame who in any case. I have a couple in wrapper I'd like to sell as well but usually wait until I see someone looking for that particular bad and maybe weight. They'd be up there also, maybe more. Hope you sell it. |
Nov. 20, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | truth be told...it could easily outlast 2 mikens at 199 each |
Nov. 20, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | had a miken break in less then 1 month and a reebok break in 1/2 a season..we used a differant yellow combat in the fall as a team bat and it lasted in a doubleheader sun league for 20 fall games and about 12 more games in spring..and at least 9 or 10 guys used it every at bat |
Nov. 20, 2012 Paco13 424 posts | Please tell me that this fool is not paying $300 for senior bat. Dude I know that Yellow combat might last a little longer but at the end of the day is a senior bat. Combat has what 6 models and do you really think that they are all that different when all of them are priced about the same. Hey I have a rock that sings and give you luck with the ladies...sell price $100.00. e-mail me @ afoolishard2find@Stupidis.whatstupiddoes. LOL Wagon hope you make some money. |
Nov. 20, 2012 0 70 posts | $375 for a used, no warranty, senior bat? SERIOUSLY? |
Nov. 20, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | so lets get this straight..you guys will pay hundreds of dollars to fly..hundreds more for lodging and a couple hundred more for food..for 1 tournamaent to play the same 5 or 6 teams over and over again..but not spend an extra 100 for a bat you like and cant get?and thusly help you perform better..?illogical |
Nov. 20, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | penny wise and pound foolish |
Nov. 20, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | ok when I bought it it the person who sold it to me said it was 27oz..just checked it and its a 28 but feels lighter than my other 28..also says fl which I think means full load long barrel sorry for the mix up |
Nov. 20, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | the one i am using is 28 bal long barrel..its about 12 games old and is hot dont want to sell it but will for right price..I also have another 28 that is used more and has a slight rattle..would take less for that one |

Nov. 21, 2012 softballnuts 81 posts | the answer "when demand is greater than the supply...the value goes up" YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT! SO HANG ON TO THAT "GOLD MINE" YOU HAVE. IT WILL BE WORTH THOUSANDS REAL SOON! |
Nov. 21, 2012 bernie Men's 55 77 posts | Hey Phil: No yellow Combat Mike Macenko bat has sold for over $175.00 on ebay since before June, 2011...Just wondering if you are taking your meds faithfully because the hallucinations are begining to cloud reality for you. Bat sold originally for $199.95 so unless your doctor has medicated it too, you are way out in space. |
Nov. 21, 2012 swing for the fences Men's 50 1224 posts | I stopped hitting the mm yellow bat last year it is replaced and im not looking to buy one ever! There are enough other bats out there to not get soaked by some greedy few! Imo |
Nov. 21, 2012 Bubble Gum 122 posts | Is that a typo? Did he really mean $3.75? |
Nov. 21, 2012 Full Monty 88 posts | Maybe he meant to type $37.50??? |
Nov. 24, 2012 tsignman 3 posts | the answer?? what was the question??...lol |
Nov. 24, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | the question is...do you want to win multiple championships?.. of course |
Nov. 25, 2012 tsignman 3 posts | always was my favorite bat & is definitely more durable than the reebok & ultra that last me half a season...wish i had the money to buy it... |
Nov. 25, 2012 Clean Up 68 posts | Let me get this straight... buying a used, no warranty bat at the ridiculous price of $375 = winning multiple championships. I DON'T THINK SO!!! |
Nov. 26, 2012 mad dog Men's 65 4190 posts | clean up why not,his bat is magical, hence the magical price...that would equal numerous championships.... |
Nov. 26, 2012 Clean Up 68 posts | Maybe that "Magic Bat" will turn to gold so the owner can buy championships! Rip off priced used bat... Automatic winning of championships... Where's Dorthy? Where's the Tin Man? When did this thread arrive in OZ? |

Nov. 26, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | if you dont want the bat..then move onto another thread..or go pay another 1500 to go to some inconsequential tournament where you play the same 4 or 5 teams over and over all over the country while you cry about spending an extra 100 on a bat you cant find that may help you hit better,,is that plain enough for you..that is what is meant by penny wise and pound foolish..and the answer is not the bat ..it is me ,,how dense can you guys be? |
Nov. 26, 2012 Snot Nose Kid 67 posts | answer: If that bat is so GREAT... WHY DON'T YOUR FRIENDS OR TEAMMATES BUY IT? |

Nov. 27, 2012 mad dog Men's 65 4190 posts | dense,us....hey your the one trying to gouge us....this bat never sold for over $200 when new...you then come on here trying to get 2-3 times more of what it is really worth....get real, quit trying to punk everyone..... |
Nov. 27, 2012 tg69 393 posts | Not really sure why everyone is so up tight about what this guy is ASKING for his bat.Hes not making anyone buy it for that price, just offering it for sale.Looks like Lee Lee was interested in it until everyone bashed him for asking that much.I could care less what he wants for it.I have a 57 CHEVY that I wouldnt take sticker price for. I also am not interested in his bat for $375. but someone just mite be. |
Nov. 27, 2012 Snot Nose Kid 67 posts | tg69 If this guy really wants to sell the "Greatest Bat Ever Made" then why such a ridiculous price? Either he really believes it's worth it and has no clue about the bats value. or he hopes to find some poor sap to rip off. Are you the type to just stand by and watch a rip off? |
Nov. 27, 2012 FOFO Men's 60 283 posts | I have a 26oz. in excellent condition I've been sitting on for a few years now. Looks like I may just have to sell it....... |
Nov. 27, 2012 tg69 393 posts | One mans junk is another mans treasure. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Old enough to know better but too young to resist! Every person on this board is old enough to vote therefore are old enough to make their own decisions as to how they spend their own money..Like I said before, I wouldnt give that for his bat but thats just opinion. ALSO, what would you call $700.00 entry fees?Do you still play at that price? Do you fly to tournaments? If so, do you pay $50.00 extra for your ball bag to fly? Is that a rip off? Just saying that just about everything we do to play senior ball is expensive so where do you draw the line as to what really is TOO MUCH? JMO |
Nov. 27, 2012 Corky Men's 55 451 posts | Sorry guys I just can't resist.......This may be a historic Thread.......not because of the topic, but because a certain profound poster has not weighed in so far. I suppose his paranoia will give him away.....what ya think. LOL |

Nov. 27, 2012 the answer Men's 60 115 posts | very true tg69..and what is the thing most seniors pay all this money to do? HIT!!! hitting is about 80 percent mental so if you are real confident with a certain bat..you will hit better..a 100 extra or so is not too much for this psychological and also I believe a technolocial advantage is it? |

Nov. 28, 2012 ? 121 posts | I just can't understand why NOBODY has bought that "Wonder Bat" yet? How can so many pass up this great deal? |
Nov. 30, 2012 LeeLee 86 posts | Okay guys I guess I need to say something. First, I didn't buy the bat, secondly I would never paid $375.00 for a used Combat. Yes I was interested in the bat so I wanted to talk to the seller which I did. And lastly I ended up buying a used yellow MM combat for $40.00. I do want to thank all of you that were looking out for me but I am always looking to buy yellow combats it is the bat of choice for me and yes I already have at least 10 senior bats presently, from Demar's, Miken's, Reebok's and yes 4 combats. Thanks guys and I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season. |

Nov. 30, 2012 LeeLee 86 posts | Now why in world would anybody pay that much for a bat that they could only use in NSA and for only until the 2015 season. I guess you could use it in seniors but why do that when you can just buy a senior bat for less than $200.00. |

Nov. 30, 2012 0 70 posts | LeeLee the answer... has all the answers! And still hasn't found anybody dumb enough to buy the bat at his price! Is it hard to figure out why he hasn't sold it yet? He will be able to sell the bat when reality sets in and his asking price comes down enough. |
