TOC 2 ??
OK, there has always only been one Tournament of Champions and that's been in Feb and it had meaning.

Now I see SSUSA is now endorsing another Tournament of Champions in January 2013, a "first" so to speak??

Can anyone make some sense of this???

The TOC is in Feb. Don't know what you might be referring to.

He might be referring to the ISSA TOC which is in Jan. However the ISSA is not a truly TOC because everybody qualifies regardless if you won a tourney or not. Check the awarded berth list if you don't believe me. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.

FELIZ NAVIDAD Y PROSPERO ANO NUEVO.

Paco,
That's exactly what I was talking about, the ISSA TOC which looks like an SSUSA supported revenue generator and not a TOC.

It doesn't make sense....

GUYS....I DONT KNOW ABOUT OTHER TEAMS ON THE LIST FOR ISSA TOC, BUT SPRINGFORD HAS 3 TEAMS IN THIS TOURNAMENT AND EACH TEAM HAS WON AT LEAST ONE TOURNAMENT. WE HAVE A GREAT SPONSOR AND IT IS GREAT TO BE GOING TO FLORIDA TO PLAY IN A SENIOR TOURNAMENT AND GET AWAY FROM THE COLD...THANKS, KEN

Not sure that SSUSA endorses this tourney. KBL that is good for your teams. DHF for example that was a local team that we put together to play at VA Beach tourney. We won one game if I recall correct and I can mentioned at least few more. There are 203 berths awarded make the math. Rememeber in ISSA if you pay you play...there is not a whole lot of enforsement when it comes to rosters. At a lot of tourney rosters are not even signed...Even though it sounds as if I don't like ISSA the contrary is true, I believe that for $500-600 you should be able to play where ever level you desire and with whom ever. Sometimes for one reason or another you might not be able to play any particular wknd but can play others so if a team is in need of a player or two why not allow that player and team be able to hook up and play. Personally I believe that there is way to much regulations on Senior ball at this age should be mainly for the fun of it and frienship...My 2 centavos.

Went last year to the ISSA TOC in Tampa. It was great to get out of the cold for a few days. We had fun playing ball. However, we never once checked in anywhere. Just showed up and played and no one seemed to care. Truly just pay and play.

2013 ISSA/ISF World Tournament of Champions
Janurary 25-27, 2013
Plant City, FL

Teams must quailify to participate in this event. Berths will be awarded from each ISSA tournament in 2012 (see tournament list). Additionally the National Champions from all major softball associations will be invited. ISF member countries are invited to send thier champions as well.

Not only do you not have to win an ISSA event to qualify, only have had play in a 2012 event, but they consider this a 2013 event and you can bring a new roster of your choice even if guys played for other teams last year. So with an updated roster of guys who weren't eligible last year even because of age, you can go and play as a whole new and different team. Where are the champions and won't they all be happy to be spanked around by a younger stacked team?
