2 Piece Bats
Now that DeMarini,Combat & Miken all have 2 piece bats on the market. I have been interested in buying one. Problem is, I'm not sure which is the best overall choice. Are they worth getting?

Any suggestions?

Or should I stick with the one piece I already have?

Don't forget Easton, I believe they were the first as well. Personal preferences as well as the bats themselves are all somewhat different. Try to find and use one before you buy one.
I tried the Miken a couple times and the owner didn't like it. I found it to be ok, it was brand new so need some breaking in. Got some good shots off and others were average.

I did not know Easton is making a 2 piece, bpf 1.21 senior slow pitch softball bat. Who and where are they sold?

No 2 piece senior bats < 1.21> that I know of, but vg older bats that most likely would be considered old school.
I wouldn't count them out for them though in the future.

Easton will have two piece bats for utrip and ASA in 2013. The also hzave fast pitch now. Not quite the 1.21 standard.

All my easton bats hit really well in the cold. I have the white two piece BH stealth and hits great. Take the time and break in and the easton tri zone bats last 3,000 to 4,000.

Easton made a two piece long before the Miken Bomb Launchers came out. I used one that some one had, and performed well. I am curious about the new Miken two piece. I saw a bat that was for 2014 yesterday. It just said Ultra, and was ASA approved.

I have found several two piece Mikens for $209.00 with free shipping on eBay.

Check out Kelly Sports on eBay for the 2014 Miken.

Tell ya what I have seen:

Corky let us hit a 27oz 2 piece Miken (batting practice)in Vegas. Even though I prefer a 29 oz., the 27oz we hit felt very solid.
The black U2s all weigh an ounce more than they show, the 2 piece is right on. We weighed about 6-8 of each with Corky's scale and the above was consistant.

In a recent visit to the Woodlawn hitting club in Florida, "3" guys in their upper 60s-70s had the 2 piece. They prefered the heavier 30 oz. All "3" bats had a very solid sound and the the ball jumped off the bat.

I plan on getting one soon (2 piece) and use both (black U2)in the qualifers and decide which to go with in the ring tournaments.

How did the two piece Miken perform compared to the black U2? I heard the bat does have a great feel but have not heard how they perform.

Thank You:

James

Any feedback on the two-piece Monsta senior bat the "Fossel". Talked to Carl from Monsta and he seems like a good dude. Anybody swing one yet?

I've had my combat 2pc for a couple of weeks and its hitting as good, if not better, as my white combat did,it took about 150 swings to open up but now the ball jumps off this bat with damm good distance. after my experience with the black mikens durability I ll stay with combat,
