SWING MAKEOVER SERIES

Feb. 1, 2016

Currently in its fourth season, the "Swing Makeover Series,” created by www.sportstechnique.com, breaks down the swing into small progressive steps that track the progress of individual hitters. Flaws are corrected and progress is made onto the next stage of improvement. In just a 90 minute session, great improvement is seen due to the system of drills and steps that are used.  The athlete can then practice this at home and off a tee to develop the skills.

"We are constantly coming up with cool tools anyone can make, new drills and working on terminology that recreational athletes can understand," said Ken Van Bogaert, President of www.sportstechnique.com. "Our consistency in making a hitting program simple is what makes us unique. We don't have a large staff, but we work hard to use the same progression and terminology for the shows."

The latest episode of the Swing Makeover Series, episode 37, explores how the lead wrist may be blocking a great swing. The show outlines how the Pro Style Snap works mechanically and daily drills that teach muscle memory to the lead wrist are provided that can be done in the comfort of your own home. These lead arm drills teach us to snap and cut the ball.
