ISA WINTER NATIONAL KICKS OFF 2016 TOC QUALIFIERS

POLK COUNTY, Fla. --- Twenty teams competed across seven divisions to kick off the first TOC qualifier of the 2016 calendar year on March 12-13,

In the four-team Men’s 50 Platinum Division, the No. 2 seed Team 1 Sports/Miken went 3-0 in bracket play to take home the championship. After dropping its first game against Team 1, third-seeded Blast won back-to-back one-run games in the elimination bracket to set up a re-match in the championship final. Team 1 defeated Blast for a second time to win the division and earn a spot in the TOC.

In another four-team division, the Men’s 50/55 Gold Division, No. 2 seed Public Enemy ran through the bracket going 3-0 to win the championship.  After being upset in their first game, top seed CKM Wealth Management won two straight games in the elimination bracket to play their way into the championship game, eventually falling to Public Enemy.

The Men’s 65 Major-Plus Division featured a best two-out-of-three series between Beef O’Brady’s/South Trace and Team Florida, with Team Florida winning the first two games, 25-23 and 27-23 to take home the series.

In the three-team Men’s 60/65 Gold Division, AAG Mustangs avenged an early loss and edged out Red Heat 15-14 in the “if” game to win the division.

Florida Mustangs took full advantage of its top seeding to win the three-team Men’s 65 AAA Division, while Venom got the better of TB Financial Group in the best two-out-of-three game series in the Men’s 70 Major-Plus Division.

In the Men’s 70/75 AAA Division, Chadwell Supply went 2-0 against Buffalo Wild Wings to win the best two-out-of-three game series.
