SSUSA THROUGH THE YEARS: DON LANGE

Don Lange, 77, has been playing senior softball since 2006. Through the years, he’s played with Peach Tree Restaurant and New York Statesmen in the 75-age division, as well as Kaiser Permanente North Coast Softball in the 70-age division.

“I must say that it has been a rewarding 10 years,” said Lange. “The camaraderie, the great people I have meet through the years. And yes, the heart breaking loss of friends and team mates.”

“With that being said, I would like to submit my picture of my ‘Champions Quilt.’  Most of, but not all have been tournaments we have won. I would like to share it with all my fellow seniors and encourage them to have one made for themselves.”

“When I pass on from here it will be displayed on my casket in memory of days gone by, cherished moments, ‘KODAK MOMENTS.’”
