2016 MOBILE NATIONAL RECAP

April 1, 2016

MOBILE, ALA. - The 2016 Mobile National was held at West Mobile County Park on April 2-3.

In the 50 Major division, four teams battled it out in the championship bracket with No. 2 seed Southeast Combat taking the top prize. After losing its first game in the bracket to Georgia Impact Legends, 18-15, Southeast Combat bounced back with wins over top seed Tommy Currid/Major League/Klutch Brand, 25-17, and Tennessee Connection/Miken, 25-16, to survive the elimination side of the bracket. Needing to defeat GA Impact/Legends twice to finish off the impressive run, Southeast Combat did just that, winning 27-18 in the championship game and 23-10 in the “if” game.

The 50-55 Gold division saw the top seed Lake Charles Lakers go 2-0 in the championship bracket, downing TN Connection and David Bowen Sporting Goods, after going 2-0 in seeding play to finish off a perfect weekend.
