SWING INTO SPRING PART II

May 1, 2016

This edition of the Senior Softball-USA Newsletter continues our multi-part series look into upcoming bats for the 2016 season. This edition highlights the Miken Freak Patriot Maxload that was recently released in April 2016.

The Freak Patriot carries Miken's triple matrix core technology, which increases the amount of Carbon Fiber used by 5% to deliver maximum performance and eliminates barrel seams that could pose a threat to durability in other bats that contain seams where the barrel shell comes together. This gives the Freak Patriot 12” bat a full 360 degree hitting surface on top of the improved performance. Other key technology includes, Flex 2 Power (F2P), which optimizes handle flex to barrel loading to maximize the overall speed of the bat head through the hitting zone and 100 COMP, which is the revolutionary formula that changed the game and introduced certified Miken high performance equipment. This product is engineered utilizing 100% premium aerospace grade fiber to deliver Miken’s legendary performance and durability.

“The Freak Patriot is Miken’s first 12” SSUSA barrel (the U2 Black line has 14” barrels) and offers a new weighting of a 25oz Maxload, which is new to Miken SSUSA,” said Marc Telander, Promotions/Product Category Manger, Miken/Worth Sports.
