MILWAUKEE CLASSIC BENEFITS WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT

BROOKFIELD, WI – The 2016 Milwaukee Classic was held at Wirth Park Softball Complex on May 19 22 with 40 teams in attendance.

“With 70 degree weather, add 40 senior softball teams, and it equals great ball in the Milwaukee Classic ‘Support our Troops Wounded Warrior Project’ Tournament,” said tournament director Thom Mikich. “The tournament raised more than $3,000 and was matched by one of our own senior players to $6,000 for 2016. As of 2016, we have given WWP $16,500 to date.”

For the champions in each division, $100 was donated in the team's name to the Wounded Warriors.
