SENIOR SOFTBALL HALL OF FAMER ARRESTED IN MURDER
Aug. 1, 2016
Blackhawk, CA – John Tercheria, who played with the Old A’s and was inducted into the National Senior Softball Hall of Fame in 2007, was charged in the murder and torture of his wife Linda.
Linda Tercheria was found Sunday afternoon, dead from blunt force trauma to the head, and police arrested John Tercheria Monday morning. The local District Attorney filed murder and torture charges, which means that Tercheria could face the death penalty if convicted.
Tercheria also played pro ball in the minor league with the Wisconsin Rapids, an affiliate of the Minnesota Twins in 1968.
