OBITUARIES - 10/7/16

Sharyn Toman

Sharyn Toman, 69, died on Sept. 29. 

Sharyn was a longtime member of the Las Vegas Neons, and also served as the LVSSA Women’s Representative and a LVSSA/SSUSA tournament director. She most recently played in the Prescott Senior Games in August winning a Gold medal.

"Sharyn displayed the best attributes of the sport: she was a dedicated director, extending friendship and understanding to all who had the privilege of working with her," said Terry Hennessy, Senior Softball-USA CEO.

Sharyn grew up in Sacramento before moving to Las Vegas after marrying John Toman. She later played co-ed in County league and was a player/coach for women's city league for years.
