TOP GUN WINTER CLASSIC KICKS OFF SSUSA 2017 CALENDAR OF EVENTS

PERRIS, CA – After being postponed twice due to inclement weather, the 2017 Top Gun SSUSA Winter Classic, originally scheduled for Jan. 12-15 at Diamond Valley Lake Sports Complex in Hemet, moved to Big League Dreams with the Men’s 65 through 75 age teams in action Jan. 26-27. The reschedule date for the 50’s and 60’s age divisions is still to be determined.

Eight teams were divided into two divisions, as D&K Softball, Over the Edge, Top Gun 65 Mavericks, No Guts / No Glory, and Top Gun Nomads made up the five-team American Division, while Git-R-Done 65, Top Gun 70, and Top Gun Silver 75’s comprised the three-team National Division.

The American Division played a full four-game round robin, while the National Division played a double round robin.

In the end, Over the Edge posted a perfect 4-0 record to capture the American Division, while Top Gun 70 also finished with a flawless 4-0 record to win the National Division.
