REMINDER: World Masters Championships will be four days for Men’s 50, 55 & 60 Age Divisions

July 1, 2018

As a reminder, the Men’s 55 and 60 age divisions (Thursday, September 20 – Sunday, September 23) and the Men’s 50 age division (Thursday, October 4 – Sunday, October 7) at the 2018 LVSSA/SSUSA World Masters Championships have been extended to four days. The extension of the dates was originally announced in the November 2017 Newsletter.

The addition of the extra day to the schedule was needed to accommodate the growing trend of the World Masters, as well as the effect of the loss of two softball complexes in the city of Las Vegas.

Also, please keep an eye out for the upcoming rolling deadlines for the World Masters.

The Men’s 55 and 60 divisions had the first deadline, Thursday, August 23. We will accept NO entries from these divisions after noon Pacific time Monday, Aug. 27, as scheduling will begin. CLICK HERE for a tentative team list for the first session. If your team is NOT on the list and you plan on attending, please contact the SSUSA office ASAP.

The Men's 65-85 divisions have the next deadline, Monday, August 27.

The Men's 40 and Women's 40 - 50 divisions have the third deadline, Thursday, August 30.

The final deadline is Friday, September 7 for the Men's 50 division.

Please make sure to contact SSUSA (916-326-5303) to ensure your participation in the tournament. Don't miss out on the largest Senior Softball tournament.
