“Net proceeds we receive from the tournament allow us to continue providing grants to multiple human service agencies on our island that have been carefully vetted and offer programs that address education, financial stability, and health needs of the people of Hawaii Island,” said Vanessa Carlson, President & Chief Professional Officer of the Hawaii Island United Way. “This collaborative effort allows us to pursue our mission of connecting people, organizations, and resources to build a healthy Hawaii Island community.”
“We appreciate the involvement of SSUSA. From my perspective, everyone had a great time doing what they love, and supporting Hawaii Island United Way in the process.”
