Pulling Out of Tournaments After Schedules Are Complete

SSUSA's policy is that there is no refund after the entry deadline for a tournament.  However, our practical application of the policy is that a team will receive a credit or refund if they pull out before the tournament schedules are drawn.

After the schedules are drawn, there is no refund.  The entry fee is applied to the charge from our scheduler, who is an independent contractor, and to pay for the staff time to notify other teams and reprint and distribute schedules to teams, officials and Umpires.

A late withdrawal from a tournament almost always results in a worse schedule for the remaining teams.
