Team Ratings to be Reviewed After 2024 Worlds

     Senior Softball USA (SSUSA) reviews all teams’ performance twice a year: After the World Championships and in June.

     Teams wishing to appeal their ratings in the first review period, after the World Championships, must send in their Rating Appeals Form by Oct. 7 to be considered.

     Rating Appeals received after Oct. 7 will not be reviewed until the mid-year review in June 2025.

     To appeal the Team Rating, managers must complete the Team Rating Appeal form (SSUSA website, Form section), along with your request listing the reasons for a Team Rerating. Click here for the Appeal Form.

     The SSUSA Ratings Board reviews the performance of all teams, researches all Team Re-Rating Appeals, and sends a list of recommendations to Directors throughout the country for review and comment.

     After the comments are received, a final list of Rating Changes is compiled, managers are notified, and the re-rating list is published. For Rating Guidelines, please click here.
