Men's 80/85+ Gold division, where the Las Vegas 80 Coyotes (blue and red jerseys) won the championship game 18-14 against Git-R-Done 80 of California.
Teams from 15 states, including from as far away as Minnesota and Alaska, converged on St. George, Utah, to compete in SSUSA’s Spring Worlds Championships.
"The Spring Worlds seem to get a bit better every year," said Dave Dowell, the event's tournament director and SSUSA's master scheduler.
"The facilities are second to none and this year's weather was perfect," he added. "Under beautiful blue skies and warm afternoons, every viewpoint looked like a Chamber of Commerce post card picture. St. George does it right."

Twenty-one title winners from the March 17-22 event earned trophies, championship shirts and berths to the 2027 Original Tournament of Champions, which will be played in Polk County, Fla.
Five champions finished undefeated. They were among 109 entries that ranged in age from the 40+ Masters division to the 85+ Senior division.
Men's 40+ Gold: Undefeated in six games, top-seeded Chumps of Utah (photo below) secured three narrow bracket-game victories to capture the six-team division. Chumps won 21-19, 20-19 and 28-27, with the final victory over second-seeded Vintage of Utah in the title game. Third-seeded Grandaddy Softball/GS Sports of Nevada captured third.

Men's 50+ Silver: Third-seeded AAA team Mis Hermanos of Arizona lost the first championship game 24-21 (its only loss of the tournament) before capturing the title in a 19-18 nail-biter over top-seeded Not Quite Retired of California, which won four elimination games in a row. Fourth-seeded Refurbished of Utah earned third in the eight-team division.
Men's 50+ Major: Fourth-seeded Damage of Nevada (photo below) shook off an 0-3 start in pool play to compile a 3-1 bracket record and claim the crown. Damage lost the first championship game 25-15 to top-seeded Diamond Dogz of California before winning the if-needed game 23-20. Second-seeded Pro Vision Posse 50 of Washington took third in the four-team division.

Men's 50/55+ Major Plus: Top-seeded Redeemed of California captured the overall title and 55+ Major Plus crown by defeating 50+ Major Plus champion Gold Nation Hustle 35-24 in the championship game of the four-team bracket. Redeemed finished 6-0 overall. Third place went to 4 The Fallen Legends Sports of Nevada.
Men's 55+ AAA: Second-seeded Team SMS of Nevada (photo below) double-dipped top-seeded Top Gun Legends of California 19-13 and 17-13 to win the eight-team bracket and finish 7-1 overall. Lokahi of Arizona earned third.

Men's 55/60+ Platinum: Seeded last entering bracket play, the NW Jokers of Washington (photo below) defeated every team in the four-team bracket enroute to earning the 55+ Major title. In the championship game, the Jokers dispatched runner-up and third-seeded Pro Vision 55 of Washington 28-13. Second-seeded Arizona Thunder finished third.

Men's 60+ Major: The top-seeded Top Gun Warriors of California (photo below) had its five-game unbeaten streak snapped in the first championship game, 23-22, before rebounding to capture the title with a 21-10 victory over second-seeded Jayco 60 of Idaho in the if-needed game. Third-seeded Road Warriors 60 of Arizona finished third.

Men's 60+ AAA: The second-seeded R-Tech Alaska Kings capped a 6-0 tournament with a pair of one-run victories, including a 19-18 championship win over fifth-seeded Top Gun Fury/ Written in Red of California. Eighth-seeded Anderson Realty Vintage Softball of Washington won four elimination games to nab third place in the 10-team division.
Men's 60+ AA: The top-seeded Boys of Summerlin of Nevada lost the first championship game 17-12 (Summerlin’s only loss) before grabbing the if-needed title-game victory 12-6 over second-seeded So Cal Riptide 60. The Vegas Renegades finished third in the three-team bracket.
Men's 65+ AA: Close games abounded in this four-team division, with eventual champion and top-seeded Sin City OutKasts of Nevada involved in two one-run games during pool play. During the championship game, Sin City pulled away from third-seeded Ranalls Realty 65 of Arizona to claim a 16-9 triumph and finish 4-1 overall. Second-seeded Los Vatos Viejos 65 II of Arizona took third.
Men's 65/70+ Platinum: Second-seeded Arizona Old School, a 65+ Major team, nipped third-seeded Vegas Elite/ Vault of Utah 24-23 for the title and a 5-0 overall record. Vegas Elite/Vault won four elimination games to reach the finals. Fourth-seeded NorthWest Stampede of Oregon, which knocked off the top seed by one run, finished third in the six-team division.
Men's 65/70+ Gold: After seeding play, seven of the nine teams in this balanced division stood at 1-1. One of those teams, fourth-seeded Chelu 65s of Oregon, lost the first title game 24-18 before claiming the if-needed championship game 17-16 over the second-seeded Arizona Road Warriors 65. Sixth-seeded Scrap Iron Heavy Metal finished third in the nine-team division, which featured 10 games decided by one run.
Men's 70+ AAA: Second-seeded Bat Attitude 70s of Utah played three one-run bracket games, which included a 12-11 loss in the first championship game against fifth-seeded Bucky’s Casino 70s of Arizona. That turned out to be Bat Attitude’s only loss out of seven games played, as it won the if-needed title game 16-11. Top-seeded Supreme Athletics 70s of Nevada captured third place in the 12-team bracket.
Men's 70+ AA: The third-seeded Pastimers of Washington outscored its bracket competition by 19 runs in three games, including a 15-6 championship victory over top-seeded Family 70s of Nevada (photo below). Pastimers finished 4-1 overall. Fourth-seeded Blood Sweat & Years of Utah placed third in the five-team division.

Men's 75+ Major: Unbeaten in six games, top-seeded R&R 75s of California dispatched third-seeded Last Call 75 of Nevada 20-9 in the title game. The second-seeded Oregon Crabs placed third in the three-team division.
Men's 75+ AAA: Second-seeded Speed Limit 75 of Utah compiled a 5-1 overall record enroute to a 20-12 championship victory over the top-seeded Sidewinders 75s of Arizona. Third place in the four-team division went to the third-seeded 75 Scrap Iron Diamonds of Colorado.
Men's 75+ AA: Third-seeded Twin Peaks Desert Heat 75 of Nevada won three elimination games in a row, including 24-15 and 23-13 title-game triumphs over top-seeded Scrap Iron Stampede 75 of Colorado. The second-seeded Silver Wolves of Utah placed third in the three-team division.
Men's 80/85+ Platinum: The second-seeded 85+ Major Plus team Omen of California outscored its bracket competition by 35 runs, capped by a 20-3 title-game victory over the fourth-seeded Minnesota Masters 80s team, which won the 80+ Major title and TOC berth. Omen finished 5-1 overall and nabbed the 85+ Major Plus TOC berth. The top-seeded Sidewinders 80s of Arizona finished third in the four-team bracket.
