"Mouse" Is Doing OK

Sept. 1, 2006 – Senior Softball-USA

Many of you were at the Western Nationals in Reno when Yvonne Lonczak (affectionately known to many of us as “Mouse”), playing with the Aches & Pains, was injured. Mouse did some serious damage to her ankle, foot, and leg when her spike caught as she was sliding into a base. She has undergone just the first of a series of surgeries to mend the mangled bones and allow her to walk again. Meanwhile, she works from a wheelchair and is still unable to put any weight on her foot at all.

Ever with an upbeat attitude, Mouse wants to let everyone know that she is doing fine and she really appreciates all the calls and all the prayers. If you would like to send Mouse some good wishes and encouragement, you can reach her at lonczak@charter.net or 209-968-9608.
