MARTIN MIDSTREAM SPONSORS AGGIELAND CLASSIC

Oct. 1, 2011 – Keith Parker Texas Regional Director

Concerned with the economic strains on senior softball players, the Texas Half Century Club and Martin Midstream Partners L.P. joined forces for the

2011 Aggieland Classic held in College Station, Texas, July 21-24.

Many senior softball players ers are retired or are being provided opportunities to retire early, at record numbers. Some are already on fixed incomes and others are either just now facing or preparing for this event in 2012. Many members of this fraternity are still going to play softball. Therefore, every dollar to be spent must be done in the most economically advantageous manner possible.

There are many considerations that figure into the formula for players to continue with their passion, like; gasoline prices, meals, air travel and rental cars.

These were the concerns when Keith Parker, executive director of the Texas Half Century Club and regional director for Senior Softball USA, met with management of Martin Midstream Partners.

Parker’s concept was to put the name of Martin Midstream Partners in front of every participant, every sponsor, on the awards clothing, individual awards and produce articles relating to Martin’s business and successes.

The awards at the Aggieland Classic bore the Martin Midstream logo and the company’s stock price trading symbol MMLP. Prior to every first game, Parker asked each team manager for about a few minutes with his team. Each player was presented with a prospectus overview and recent news on Martin Midstream. Included with the information packets were a large Caribinar Clip for each players bat bag which had Martin Midstream and MMLP lasered on the clip.

The Aggieland Classic doubled as a SSUSA World Championships Qualifier and the Texas Half Century Club Senior Softball Championships of Texas 2011.
