REX WALTERS OF INDIANA SILVER STICKS 65s DIES
June 1, 2011
Rex Walters of the Columbus Indiana Silver Sticks had a massive heart attack and died on June 20.“Rex was a competitor and had a good time playing Senior Softball,” said teammate Ken McCollum. He had just turned 70 on May 29, and was looking forward to playing in the 70 age group. He lived in Bloomington, Ind., and was a retired firefighter with the Perry Township Fire Department.
Rex will be missed by all his teammates on the Silver Sticks 65 Softball Team, and most of all by his wife Judy and all his family and friends.
