2023 End-of-Season Ratings

Teams Moving Up After The 2023 Worlds:

(For a list of teams moved up or down based on performance; or moved up or down based on appeals approved or denied, scroll down).

Congratulations to teams that finished in the top of the largest tournament in Softball: The 2023 World Championships in Las Vegas!

Per the 2023-2024 SSUSA Rulebook, Section 13.1 (4) C:

Team move-ups after Senior Softball Tournament Championships follow this procedure:

1. All champions in AA, AAA, and Major divisions will be moved up one division for the following season. Teams cannot appeal for one year.

2. In addition, these teams will be moved up with the right to appeal after playing three qualifying tournaments: all finalists (second-place) teams in divisions or 11 or more; all third-place teams in divisions of 21 or more; all fourth-place teams in divisions of 31 or more.

3. At the discretion of the SSUSA staff, more teams may be moved up based on overall performance during the season, recommendations from directors and umpires-in-chiefs, and the team's performance at the Senior Softball Tournament Championships.

4. Senior Softball-USA ratings staff will decide these skill-ratings changes and appeals.

NOTE: Teams participating in the 2023 TOC will compete at skill level in which they won the TOC berth.
