Tournament Format

Note: The tournament director reserves the right to combine divisions of three or fewer teams within one age level and/or skill level.

Entry fee deadline: entries must be postmarked by Wednesday, March 30, 2005
Special Notice: Officials reserve the right to modify or change elements of the tournament due to such things as: Weather and field conditions, unforseen movements or changes in team(s) status, combining of age divisions in pool play, and other situations as might occur not within our control, and as may be deemed necessary to expedite completion of events.
The Bay Area Senior Softball Association (BASSA) will be hosting its Third Annual Senior Softball World Championships (SSWC) National Qualifier Tournament on April 8, 9, and 10, 2005. Primary location for this competition will be the Harris County Kipper-Mease Senior Softball Complex located at 10700 Red Bluff Rd., Pasadena, TX (one traffic light North of Bay Area Blvd.); additionally a portion of the competition will also be held at the NASA Johnson Space Center Softball facilities (on Space Center Blvd., just North of NASA Pkwy)
Having established itself as a viable community for hosting a SSWC National Qualifier Tournament, this event is expected to grow continuously in stature. Teams participating in this year's Tournament will qualify for the World Championships, to be held in Phoenix, AZ in October, 2005.
