Discussion: Release from a team

Anyone know if SSUSA requires a coach or manager to call them and get a release for a player who wants to move to a different team?

Bruce,

Thanks for the call last night. I had just nodded off so when you said Bruce McLain I drew a blank but of course we played in a few tourneys together on Road Runners. Would love to join you for Winter Worlds and the remainder of the 2016 season if that will help your team. I have dropped 23 lbs so feeling great and do all of my own running. Still play Tuesdays and Sunday League in Tucson and BP every Thursday. Play tourneys with a team out of Tucson but nothing sanctioned because they are a 65 team and I am only 63. My email is swentz2@cox.net

Arizona 60+ Major player looking to join a team. Hit .755 for the past season. Hit .785 at World Championships in Las Vegas. Play 3rd, 2nd and 1st Base. Have 3 All Tournament selections and 3 World Championship rings. Our team finished 3rd of 36 teams at last Worlds and were moved up to Major. I have been a major player for 2 years now. Team disbanded end of March due to little success as a major team. I already have reservations for SW Championships in Las Vegas this April if your team is going. email is swentz2@cox.net

Discussion: Looking for a Team

Our 60+ Major team which took 3rd out of 36 teams at the World Championships in Vegas has disbanded. I am looking for a team to play for full time preferably an AZ team. I have booked a room in Vegas for the SW Championship in April so if you find yourself needing an outstanding fielding third baseman, second baseman or first baseman just for that tournament who hits for power and average (.755 on the year and .788 at World Championship, All Tourney Selection)please contact me at swentz2@cox.net. Thank you.

Discussion: 1 and 1 pitch count

We use 1 - 1 count all the time in local tourneys and in our local league and pick up Tuesdays. Greatly speeds up the game. Have been to many SSUSA tourneys where we travelled far only to play 5 inning games with a 0-0 count. It makes no sense. In slow pitch if you can't hit a pitch when given 2 looks at a strike, you need to play golf. I know lots of players are sick an tired of paying big money to travel only to get 5 inning games at SSUSA tournaments.

Discussion: Who won.

Road Runners of Tucson finished 3rd in the 33 team 60 AAA bracket at the Worlds. We left just after the game between Wisconsin and Hannington's began. Can someone tell me who won the 60 AAA bracket?
