There's more to it then just that. I believe we did play in a 3rd tournament but I can't remember which one. The 50's team did play in the Major worlds in 2013 and 2014. This after we were reclassified back.
2013 we finished middle of the pack. 2014 I believe we were 6th.
This all started with the 50's team this year. Mid way thru the year they moved them up to 50 Major Plus. They played in Atlantic coasts Championship and in Maryland. I played with them as a fillin. After those tournaments they were moved up. After coming in 3rd in both(note: Not that many teams in either tournament). The teams that beat them didn't get moved up. That right there tells you there is something wrong with the system.
Our 55 team will be some of those players, yes, but being moved up to Major Plus before we can prove ourselves is not right.
I'm i considered a Major Plus player because I was there courtesy runner for those weekend's.
Our 55 team is all from the same area. We use various ages from our area to fill our roster's when ever we go away just to allow for injuries, etc. Example above, me helping the 50's in there 2 tourney's.
Our 55 team played in the Atlantic Coast as a Major this year(3 Major teams 2nd place) and in Ft Myers as 55 Major Plus but played down at the 50 Major level as a favor to SSUSA to even out the brackets. I think we went 3 and 3 all close games.
The additions we will make this year won't make us a Major Plus.
I can keep going with examples but it's just not worth the time i would spend.

I just don't see the justification in moving the 55 team up without a good reason. We should be allowed to prove ourselves then move us if warranted.
Done, over and out. Time to move on.

Lee, we were classified as 50 Major Plus in 2012. Played in the Atlantic Coasts Championships and Northeast Championships and got our butts kicked in 10 straight games. So to say we never moved up is wrong. Would you pay $1000 per man to travel to worlds from the Northeast at the Major Plus level after experiencing what we did in the previous tournaments. I think not. SSUSA's reasoning for moving us to 55 Major Plus is not justified and that's the bottom line.
