Oh by the way tg69, I think you have it all wrong. Crybaby is a harsh word, I like the more liberal word that begins with a P and not a cat. Lol

A sad situation this is and no solution in sight. We played in this tournament last year as a major team against a AA team in the 60 division. We gave them 5 runs and an extra plsyer. We had to fight the whole game just to beat them by one run. These lower teams have been given an equalizer but they still will not play. What a joke. Keeping playing down and you will never get any better, but I guess you are satisfied with that situation.

I agree with you Bruce on this sad situation. The people who are in this age group, if they truly played organized softball had to play every team no matter who they were. My team in Birmingham had to play against the likes of Howard's Furniture and Ken Sanders Ford. It didn't matter what classification Now as we get older certain teams are dictating the make up of a tournament. You would think after playing 40 years of softball you would have some improvement. NOT. But that is okay. Play in the lower divisions and you are not qualified for the Hall Of Fame. that is the pinnacle of softball.
