Discussion: Phoenix Worlds

Are there any 60 Texas teams, or surrounding states, in need of a 1st baseman for Phoenix Worlds in November? This would be my first opportunity in the 60 age bracket. I currently play with a very strong 50aaa team and am rated as a major player. My plan for next year is to play both divisions, if there is an opportunity. If you are a very competitive team needing someone for that weekend please give me a means of contact and we can discuss further. steveharris1217@gmail.com

Curveball, thanks for the information. Do you happen to know what time they start? Also, you stated "if" I signed a waiver. Is that something that is difficult to accomplish? I certainly don't mind signing and following whatever procedures are required. Thanks again for your response.

Discussion: Las Vegas BP

I will be visiting Las Vegas the week of June22nd and would like to take some BP to prepare for an upcoming tournament. Do any of you guys hit during the week and if so mind if an outsider joins you? I am available Wednesday and Thursday, June 24th and 25th. I would prefer a morning session. Thanks.

Can someone provide me with details on past Texas Senior Games tournaments? My tournament team (50's) is considering adding this date to our schedule, but know little about it. Is it a well attended tournament? Is it competitive? Any details would be greatly appreciated.

Discussion: San Antonio/Boerne Tournament

I would like to play this weekend in Boerne just as a warm up. Not looking for a permanent team. If someone is looking to complete a roster (50/55) please let me know. I can play 1st, catch, EH. Thanks

Does anybody know where to find extra wide (4E) turf shoes? I have always had to wear running shoes as I can't find them anywhere.

Discussion: Texas based player looking for 2015 team

JB, thanks for the information. I should have been a little clearer with my request. I have actually played off and on with the S.A. league. My work schedule makes it difficult to attend on a consistent basis. I am looking for a tournament team that plays 8-10 tournaments a year, including national and world tournaments. I am eligible, and willing, to play 55's as well. I am looking for an established team that is capable of winning at Dalton, Vegas, and Phoenix. Thank you very much for the reply.

I am looking for a 50aaa, major, or major+ team in the Texas area. My main position is first, but I am more than willing to catch or EH. I have played on recent teams that have won aaa and major national championships and can definitely contribute to any team. Please drop me a line and we can discuss via email or by phone as I'm not comfortable trying to sell myself through a thread. After all, we are all great on paper. Thanks.
