I don't offer anything at cost or we wouldn't be having this conversation. I wouldn't be in business. If something happens like this where I'm NOT AT FAULT then I was going to give you bats at cost. I'm still very confused as to WHY you wouldn't get a signature if you live near "TWEAKERS" and you would be home to sign for it. I never told you it was going to cost you more for a signature. Maybe you were in the shower I don't know but if that's what you want to do and spread the word then that's what you have to do. I would think that people reading this would take our side It's NOT OUR FAULT in any way shape or form. FED EX UPS DHL won't give the shipper a claim if it's not signed for. You're asking me to just throw away the $400 plus dollars even though we're not at fault. Doesn't seem fair

I agree you the Hector and that's why we ask everybody if they want to do a signature. We don't even charge for that service as well but some people don't want it in case they aren't there

This is Bats Unlimited. I completely understand Big Mikes frustration. When we spoke late Thursday I asked him if we could get a SIGNATURE REQUIRED for the package just for this reason and that we can't be responsible if something gets stolen. He told me that he didn't want to, so I figured he may be in and out of the house throughout the day. So I shipped it out next day air and it was dropped off at his location at 9:20 the next morning. Mike then called me the same day it was delivered and told me the package wasn't there and proceeded to tell me that there are "TWEAKERS" in his area which in my mind I would have DEFINTELY got a signature just for that reason. So I immediately called Fed ex to have that driver come back out to show Mike were he put the package and they told me that the driver told Mike the description of his house and the car that was in the driveway and also told me it was his first delivery that morning and he rang the doorbell and knocked as well. Fed ex told me at that point since there was NO SIGNATURE that they are not responsible if something gets stolen and that they will not honor a claim and the case will automatically be closed! So after all this I would like to get opinions on what would you do if this was your small business and do you think I'm at fault in anyway? Signatures are good to have if you know you might not be there all day but sometimes people work away from home and can't be there to sign that's why we give the option and tell the customer that we can't be liable for it. Mike agreed. Furthermore I don't feel that Bats Unlimited should receive the negative feedback for doing their job as instructed by the customer. Not fair in my eyes. This may come across as not being compassionate and hate that this happened. We support all branches of military and can get you stuff at cost due to the circumstance.
