| May 20, 2015 johnperry | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: rain delay rules This past weekend we played in a T.O.C. tournament in Leesburg, Va and we got rained out on Saturday after heavy rains. The tournament committee decided that the games that were rained out and remaining games would be 5 inning games! While my understanding is that the committee has 3 options, I feel that they choose the worst of the 3 options. Why not go to the 1 & 1 count and play 7 innings or at the very least, play 7 innings for the championship games? Does anyone else have an opinion on the committees decision in the event it rains at another tournament? |
