| Dec. 7, 2023 Jimmy.p | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Shaved Bat Its a simple fix .require bats to be manufactured with non removable tamper proof caps..end and handle (like milk.medicine,sports drinks ect.)give manufacturers a grace period 1 year to comply. And put in severe penalties for the use of a shaved bat in a sanctioned game. 1# minimum 5 year Ban to life long ban.and its very important to penalize the team as well perhaps with a ban from a few ssusa tournaments. .This may seem extreme but team members will police them selfs.Remember most players play by the rules the problem is caused by the ones that dont and dont give a rats ass .so why would you care if they got the boot. |

A lot of players can only hit soft singles and thats with current balls i have played against teams that cant advance a runner past 2nd base with out being forced out by a out field throw, deader balls will make a lot of hitters easy prey. Its pretty simple ssusa for starters could out law any bat with removable end caps .Manufacturers would comply or go out of business.and if you do get caught with a shaved bat ..life long ban with your team mates losing a full season. The ones that are the most dangerous with shaved bats are the ones that dont need to shave them. SHAVED BATS make a poor hitter INTO a average hitter an average hitter into good a hitter and great hitter into a dangerous hitter.Something needs to change start with Manufacturer let them do the work . |

| Dec. 7, 2021 Jimmy.p | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: 11 defensive players 65+ I am amazed at a 12 to zip vote,you must have been chewing on the same chicken wing or perhaps a full moon..SSUSA is a business you just managed to pi?? off over 60% of your customers, there are alot of issues, heres one just for starters, how about a team that's short on traveling players before ,11 was a short team now its 12, yes it does make a difference, we just played with 11 players ,lost 1 to injuries ended with 10 , if we would have had to field 11, we wouldn't have traveled 1000 miles to play,simply don't have enough players.I play most major ssusa tournaments from Vegas to winter haven.at this point the only one that seems happy is my wife ,I'll be home alot more LOL... Remember those words of wisdom from years ago,IF its not broken don't screw it up.Its not to late to get some player imput.they pay the bills and should have a say.thankyou..Jimmy p. |
