Discussion: 11th Defensive Player - What To Do?

the sf position depends a lot on his arm strenth(to be able to throw arunner out from the second base area).with a right hand hitter he normally would be between the bag and the ss.and on the other side witha left hand batter, he should be able to cover 95% of all the double plays, what we do with 2 outs and a force play situation is play the sf deep behind second base even on the grass all we want is the force at second thats when we will have the ss or sb cover.(or even the pitcher) throws from the out field again depends on his arm strenth hits down the lines the ss or sb go out for the relays, it takes a little getting use to
