| April 26, 2013 Gorilla Boy | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Big Cat Classic is All Set I just want to say thanks to the teams that are coming to this event. I amm trying to start something that I can personally be involved with when it come ss to tourneys. Looking forward to it. We ahve 26 teams and it should be fun. Also just to point out I still have some great deals of all kinsds of senior bats. Once a gain Thanks. Actually nice enough to start swinging. Nothing like the sound of hitting one really good. A player on my team once said, after I asked him if he hit it good? "Sometimes I hits em good and sometimes I hits em real good!".. His name was Fred Trice and if you ever saw him you would understand. One big man! Gorilla Boy |

| Feb. 8, 2013 Gorilla Boy | Topic: Bats Discussion: Hard time getting ahold of Team 1 sports re: broken Ambush Once I put the cap in place, and yes it wants to come out because it is air tight, I get it as tight as it will go then I wipe off the excess glue with an alcohol solvent. Then I will take 3 10 inch pieces of duct tape and tape it over the end plug on 3 spots accross the end cap. This should keep the end cap in toight. It has worked for me. Stand it on its plug overnight. All you can do is try. I hope this helps. Mike Macenko aka:Gorilla Boy It seems like somethings work better than other ones for certain people. I know that the glue Pete usesd works. I believe I got the ingrediant form Krueg. He kn ows the real good stuff but it so expensive. Hey Pete waht was the glue that Krueg suggested again? Thanks in advance.... |
| Feb. 8, 2013 Gorilla Boy | Topic: Bats Discussion: Hard time getting ahold of Team 1 sports re: broken Ambush The key to any end plug repair is having some patience. You want to use a 80 grit sandpaper and clean the end plug as well as the inside of the barrel. Kevin Schullstrom is the one who really worked it out to repair the bats. I just followed suit. One thing I do is put plenty of the glue inside of the barrel and a lot on the end plug. I am a firm believer in more than less when it comes to end plugs. It (might) add a little bit of weight to the bat but I really don't think it will be noticable. If anybody has any questions about the end plugs you can contact me at mike@bigcat844.com.. Hope this helps. Mike Macenko aka:Gorilla Boy |
| Feb. 7, 2013 Gorilla Boy | Topic: Bats Discussion: ANYBODY SELLING THE YELLOW MM SENIOR GEAR You can give me a call and I should be able to give you a decent price. 330-419-0205 Bruce I was trying to work it out to be at the Spring Training. Still not sure. Mike Macenko aka:Gorilla Boy |
| Feb. 7, 2013 Gorilla Boy | Topic: Bats Discussion: ANYBODY SELLING THE YELLOW MM SENIOR GEAR It is a new senior bat that Coop is doing for Mike Kelly. He is not only doing a senior bat he is also producing a ASA and USSSA models as well. The scoop is another great bat that Combat is doing for Kelly's Ulitmate Sports. What is the difference? I really can't tell you because I don't know except that it is not one of our projects at Anaconda Sports. Combat makes great bats. I hope this helps. it is not much but that is what I know. I won't bullcrap you. Mike Macenko aka.Gorilla Boy |
| Feb. 7, 2013 Gorilla Boy | Topic: Bats Discussion: New Reebok? Bruce, I don't believe you will see a 10 inch barrell in the Reebok line of bats. There was a lot of talk about a 10 inch. Especially if you watch Dave Reed hit it. I just don't think that is going to happen. It should have but it didn't and won't. Just what I know. Front Of The Line WOW! Mike Macenko aka.Gorilla boy |
| Feb. 7, 2013 Gorilla Boy | Topic: Bats Discussion: ANYBODY SELLING THE YELLOW MM SENIOR GEAR I would look on E-Bay. You might be able to find one there. Might be expensive Good Luck. Mike Macenko aka.Gorilla Boy |
| Jan. 30, 2013 Gorilla Boy | Topic: Bats Discussion: Centenarians & Twilight Just a note to let everyone know that I got some good pricing on the White or Black Centenarians along with the Twilight. I just had one player that had over 800 swings on his Twilight and he said it played unbelievable. The last 50 swings were by far the best with any senior bat he has swung before. Just give me a ring if I can be of help... Mighty Mike aka.Gorilla Boy 330-419-0205 |
