Feb. 15, 2013 batter4u	Topic: Bats Discussion: Centenarians review, 13" and 10" I totally agree with the above assesments, both are great bats, I use the white cent. for my gamer but the black one for bp as it seems to have a longer life expectancy, but Both will far outlast the Miken's, dont know about the Reebok's. Have also hit with the twlight and after the first hundred swings, it was up there with the best of them, although had a large paint chip come off it after 50 swings,,,combats problems seems to be end caps, which they have fixed to some extent, and paint jobs,,, just my opinion
Jan. 20, 2013 batter4u	Topic: Bats Discussion: 2 Piece Bats I've had my combat 2pc for a couple of weeks and its hitting as good, if not better, as my white combat did,it took about 150 swings to open up but now the ball jumps off this bat with damm good distance. after my experience with the black mikens durability I ll stay with combat,
Nov. 27, 2012 batter4u	Topic: Product review Discussion: Softballs I was on one of the teams that played aginst the Japanese teams using that ball. you had to use a smooth swing and hit the center of the ball or else all you heard was a thuuud and the ball would go straight up or hit 5 feet in front of the plate and bounce 30 ft in the air and come down in front of the pitcher. Most were using senior bats and any attempt to power the ball usually made you look silly. In the outfield you had to back up for a pop up if you saw you couldnt get to it,,, play the bounce, It was fun but wouldnt want to play if too often....

Aug. 16, 2012 batter4u	Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: obscure rules? This rule has exiled me from playing any SSUSA tourneys for over a year . When I moved to CA. in 09 I consided myself a AAA offensive player and a trailer park defensive player. I was picked up by a AAA team prior to Reno, however this team was reclassified by SSUSA to major plus when we showed up. In 2010 while in CA. I again played for a major+ team After the 2010 season moved to AZ. AZ has 1 major team and no major + teams in my age (65) I have had several AAA teams ask me to play with them and have called the SSUSA explaining my situation, but been told I have to wait out the 2 years. It was black and white, no exceptions, At age 65, I hated missing a whole year of tourneys for this rule,,,, ...
July 31, 2012 batter4u	Topic: Bats Discussion: White Centenarian Short barrel I got one with the big knob several months ago,,, no paint problems except for some webbing on the barrel, it hits with the best of the senior bats and have more hits on it than I had with my last 3 mikens,,,don t notice the shorter barrel after the first couple of swings and the ball comes off it hard,,, it will stay my gamer..
May 10, 2012 batter4u	Topic: Bats Discussion: White Combats Got my white centenarian on tues and took batting practice with it yesterday. ball really jumps of this bat and I agree that it will hit with the best of the senior bats. Off a tee was clearing the fence,300 ft, with the wrapper still on it. Hope it last as long as my blue combat, have over 1500 swings and still hits the ball good.

April 10, 2012 batter4u	Topic: Bats Discussion: Combat SEN-GR2-E Bat I would agree that the Ultra II is the best bat for distance but the blue Macenko is close behind. my current blue Macenko has lasted since I bought it last sping. In comparision my last red Ultra II was cracked in less than 50 swings. I m more that willing to give up a little distance for durability, a 305ft hit or 320ft hit is still over a 300 fence.

March 18, 2012 batter4u	Topic: Bats Discussion: Composite Bats I got my frist grey ultra about a week before Reno in, I think 02. I hit off a tee with it and was surprised at how it hit. The first time to bat at the tourney, everyone on the team was kidding me about my new bat, then the first time up, I hit one halfway up the cliff to the parking lot and then everyone wanted to use it. I heard that Mike Kelly of Kelly sports had brough 100 new mikens to the tourney and that they were gone the first day,,,, my team helped as they bought 10 of them
March 3, 2012 batter4u	Topic: Bats Discussion: Yellow MM Combat Hombre,,, a couple of us down here in AZ would also like to check these white 10" centenarians out. If they are anything like the red combat's with the 10" barrels, they will match up with any senior bat.
Jan. 27, 2012 batter4u	Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: rosters having moved from California and playing on a major+ team there to Arizona, is akin to being blacklisted from ssusa as there are a very limited,(1), major team in AZ my age, fact is you don t always have to have major plus abilities to be on a major plus roster and be labeled with the major+ label and suffer the consequense of having to sit our seasons if there are no major + teams in your area
