| Nov. 5, 2008 timothystone | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Phil Cook, mgrcoach of So. Cal. Cruisers is seriously ill, ...short version. I had the privilege to play with Phil and the SC Cruisers for the past 3 seasons. There is not another person I have met in my softball life quite like Phil. We often would kid with one another about what "Mom" said about him and what "Mom" said about me. All of it centered around who "Mom" loved best, Since we looked alike and people thought we were brothers, usually resulting in some made-up delimma during our childhood It's like losing a true family member. Our prayers go out to Phil and the family. Heaven has gotten a truly funny guy. We have lost a great friend and coach! Tim Gleason |

My full name is Timothy Stone Gleason (no relationship to Jackie ) He was a great Grandfather and person. I miss him everyday, but I still get to see the Gunsmoke reruns on TV Land. I go by Timothy Stone because that's what my wife calls me. If I run into you at one of the tournamnents, please say HI. |
