Sir, Thank you, I was not going to reply anymore, but what you said is precisely my point, I was not critical of playing in the type of weather we had (Thank God for the rain), or the one pitch option and the five run rule per inning (those are rules of the game and they were followed), I think #6 needs to get himself a rule book or reread his posts before sending them. PS: I fail to see the sarcasm in my previous reply either.
Thanks for the fun guys, its being quite a Therapy Session (no sarcasm either, I mean it).

Actually #6, I apologize, because it was DoubleL 10, who made the statement about folks only getting on board to critize, but JR said it all with his comment about illegal players, which is what my comment was about. As for the conditions, I did not say anyone got an edge, I said "Thank God nobody got hurt". We also went to play softball and I apologize if we like to play by the rules, which is why they are made. Thank you for allowing me to voice my opinion.

Sir,
I believe you asked for comments, I give credit where credit is due, you have to agree that some of the fields, especially, the #2 field was really really bad around the second base area, just glad that no one got hurt. As for the tournament itself, you can say it was a sucess because it did not have to be cancelled. However, when you ask for comments be prepared to get both positive and negative. We are not all going to agree but thats the right we have as human beings, I respect your views, the least you can do is respect mine even if you don't agree with me. Good luck on your next tournament.

I was not very happy with the way the tournament was handled. There was one team that used an illegal player, he did not even use his real name on the lineup card given to the umpire. When he was reported, the umpire did not verify his age, the guy walked away from the dugout, the game continued and then the tournament director said we had no proof. Just goes to show that you even at our age, there is no integrity and honesty. The manager and several players knew the guy was illegal but they all kept quiet.

Larry,

I am a friend of Eli Ochoa from Corpus Christi, Texas, I went to Vegas this last weekend to play with him on the old team you used to play with. Do you still need players? I am 61 and in pretty good shape, can play any position except pitch. Let me know if you are interested. 361-548-7893.

Thanks,
Manny
