That's not terrible losing to the 1st/2nd place teams. Hey--do you think that pass will be OK for a weeks stay at the Marriot while I'm in Vegas?

It's raining, so no league tonight, means no info from Stevie and "The Penguin".

Discussion: Looking for 50+ Team--VA/MD

Looking for a 50+ team in VA or any state that borders. Played 50+ major w/Metro Stars the past few seasons, but they are moving on to the 55+. Therefore, I'm putting out a feeler to see what may be available for the 2012 season. Utility player.

What teams do/did you play for? Was it all on the shore? I'm just trying to get some background info because there may be an opportunity for a team. I played with Joey and DiamondBlade for a couple of seasons, also played some with Tommy Lords. Please leave some contct info--if possible?!

Yeah Harry I did forget bald-- I Thank God for Gallagher! You cannot forsake the 19th hole on Tuesday evenings--What's wrong with you man!!

Webbie--Unfortunately it's not my size 14 feet that I'm worried about not seeing anymore! 200--I'd be lucky to see 250!

Hey Cookie, Thank you. I know that you guys will be a lot stronger next year with some of the Sweet Const group added. You know that we'll see each other at least 3 times next year. I appreciate that you were kind and just left me alone at 3rd!

Stay healthy all!

Harry--Let me start this thread out by saying "you know--I love you!?" Now that that has been said, I can honestly say I know how you feel on weekends;that being old, fat and slow just doesn't work!(TEE-HEE) I need to shed a few lb's and get back into bikini shape! I'll be seeing you in a couple weeks.

Leroy--Thank you for the kind words. We've always enjoyed competing against the Southern Elite/Kayson's group, even though we usually have ended up on the wrong side of the scoreboard the past few meetings. You have a great group of gents, except maybe Mike, your catcher?! Just kidding Mike! We appreciate how you help Pat with his little issue with the rental car; now that was classy! Good luck in the upcoming season and I look forward to seeing your team at some point this summer. Stacks 3B/RC

Thank Harry! Wish you guys were coming down. That way we would not have to deal with playing against Billy and Tommy! You know it's going to happen! Come out and hit sometime on Wednesdays--you know that spring is just around the corner and we all want to see your smiling face!!??

Discussion: Are some Positions more important than others?

I'm with Metro Stars in the 50Major--Billy Cameron and Tudor are playing with IMS Dogs this weekend. I think we are in Winter Park? I'm trying to get in to make the practice games--the indoor stuff doesn't allow to much as far as movement while fielding. Hope to see you sometime during the weekend!

Harry--Thanks wish you guys were going!Larry--I'm glad to see that you can still cover it! It's been a while since I seen you play--old Capital Xrays Days. I think I was just breaking in to the 35's then. Are you playing the TOC?

Harry--Thanks for defending me in your assessment of the catcher position!! Sorry to jump in late into the thread. I don't know very much about the game, but I've always believed your best defense is a strong middle: Pitcher, SS, 2nd, LC and RC.

No one person really cares about your asinine comments...
Just shut up and play--bottom line, the common factor is that they are all still tournaments.

I found that the worth bats have better pop and life with certain weights-i.e. 29 oz. was hot and the 30oz was not so hot! Has anyone noticed if a certain weight jumps out?
