We have 9 or ten guys from our 60 team looking to form a 65 AAA team. The 60 NVF team will still be kept in tack. We have some younger guys coming to join the 60s. We are looking to play in Myrtle Beach S.C the weekend of Oct.22 to Oct.26.The other tourney is SSUSA winter nationals 11/4 to 11/6. We are in need of a few 65AAA players to join us. If you are already on a team but would like to play a release will be given after the tourney. We would like to get players that are willing to stay with us for the 2015 season. You would have to border Va.Please Contact Harry Westwood at homerunhar@cox.net or Alan Gillespie at alan31softball@gmail.com .

Alan is the head coach. Thanks Harry # 20 Northern Va. Force.

I just want to thank Mike for helping me out with my problem. He solved my problem much to my satisfaction even though I did not buy the bat from him. Great job by Mike. Thanks Harry

What is a shame is that I got an e-mail that the twlight bat was on sale for 129 and change. I order one and before I got the bat it goes on sale for 99 and change. I called and got too bad. What is a man to do. I will keep Tri18 number handy from now on. Thanks Harry # 20 NVFORCE. see everybody in Raleigh. N.C.

Had an interesting play yesterday in Salem Va. We had a runner on first and a pop fly to short right. Runner went half way but the SS made a good play and tried to get the runner at first. The runner was going back to the bag but the ball went into the dugout. We said he should get one plus one and be on third base. He was put on second. Would like some in put on the ruling. Thanks Harry

Discussion: Tanel's return policy

Just wanted to thank Andy Groebner of Tanel. I contact Andy about a problem that I was having with a batting glove that was starting to tear. He replaced the glove without any questions and I did not have to send the glove back. I just thought that he should get a shout out for a job well done. Thanks Harry

Our coach of the Northern Virginia Force has suffered a Heart attack. Alan is going to be ok. One of his arteries was 99% blocked. He suffered this on Sat. morning while at work. The doctors said that he could be released as soon as today 4/14/14.I saw him yesterday and he was alert and feeling ok. prayers are always a good thing. He is hoping to coach in Frederick MD a the end of the month. We better play better than we have to take some of the stress off him. Thanks Harry #20

Discussion: Shoulder replacement

Lecak, I talk to him and the only reason that I would have the shoulder replaced is so that I could throw again. There was not any guarantee that I would be able to throw. I can live with the pain. I am going to try the shots for now. The Dr. thought that they would help. The rotator cuff is healed. He was pleased with the strength of it. I can still hit and play golf would hate to have those things taken away. The best to you whatever you decide to do. Thanks Harry

I have seen some players using a type of ball that does not go any place. I would like to get some of these so at least one can swing in tight areas. Does anybody have an idea of what the brand name is and where to get them Thanks Harry
