Discussion: Barrage 28oz

Larry I've got pretty many of them. The Super Dirty 28oz is the last one I put in my bag. It was cheap and hot right out the wrapper. 3rd. Swing with a used fireball 320ft. Wait gets better 2nd round at about 30 swings on it 350ft. I have around 100swings on it and it is still going strong. I believe all the senior bats are pretty close in performance. It's how many swings can you get on the bat.Have a great Thanksgiving to your family and you Larry.

My 28 Barrage has a little over 200 swings and webbing pretty much. Hits as far as any other bat that I have in my bag. Just would like to know what is the most swings this bat can take before it actually cracks with a saw tooth.

Harry the team name is 4:13 Rimfire. You probably know most of the players. Most of them played for Faith Electric out of Ga. back in the day.

Perl 60 Elites M and Hufman 65 M rosters are full at the moment. Lenny not crying about moving up and I did hit well in the .800's. Good ball and astro turf. Ball moves well in the outfield. Just want play. Winkey decided to bring 4 or 5 players and merge with Ed Rose. So our pretty good team is gone. We'll play one more time together in Feb at the TOC.
Plan on having some fun. Perl if you see Gore tell him Dianne and I are praying for his wife.

The 65 major team I played with this year won the vegas 65m. They moved the team up to M+ this week.

Harry thanks. I'd love to play but as you know I can't play lower than Major in SSUSA. We played against you 2 or 3 years ago at the TOC. Keep me in touch if ya'll go Major.

Still looking. I know I probably have no chance on getting on major team. All the ones I 've called the rosters are full. I'm really not going to be picked up by a M+ team for I'm not in that circle of super players. I guess it's sad in a way to win the 65M in Vegas. Didn't expect the team to break up. It will take some time but I'll keep on posting. Will be 66 next month and probably want play tournament again until I'm 68. It was worth winning anyway I want be play for a while.

My coach and me didn't really agree with what's a hit or error. Knock the glove off the short stops hand and the ball kept going and he calls that an error. I told him I didn't really care about his avg. Stat as long as I get on base without causing an out. Just want the team to win. Get on base any way I can. Love this game.

or a 6'5" 250 pound hitter compared to a 5'8" 180 pound hitter, Would the bigger and heavier hitter be altering the bat. We know all 28oz bats don't weigth 28ounses.

Our 65Major team broke up. Iím looking to play with a 60M or 65M. Being left handed I play out field, first and pitch if needed.
Good hitter with some power. Can run for myself. Had a hip problem this year from sliding at 3rd for a trible. Hip is well now.
Just want to play doesn't matter which state the team is from as long as it touches Tenn. At my age just want to have fun and compete.

Well taits someone said the Evil BP balls want hurt your bat as other balls will. Don't know the tech port of it just wanted to try this ball for bp. I like it and if you have a better ball I 'll try it. I hit alot so I normally hit Easton bats they last a while for my swing.

Well I ordered one dozen Evil BP balls to see who they hit. I've got to say they hit as well as the Fireballs when they are right out the box. So I guess I will anorther 24 for BP. Great balls.

Looked on the SSUSA and SPA 55 team list. Found no 55 teams in La. Ya,ll will have start a 55 tourney team or go to Tx.,Ms. or Ark to play. You could play 50. I believe Lake Charles has one. Look on the 2 web sites.

For me it is Don. Don't weight 250lbs so I have to have an equalizer. It works for me. Heavy endload.

In my opinion I would have a better batting avg. With dudley. Hits great line drives and have no problem hitting the over a 300 foot fence. At the mement the Big Cat for distance out hits the dudley12". From what Bruce tells me when the 12" gets broken in well it will out hit the big cat. I have a 28oz. 12". But the next one I will buy will be a 29oz. With my swing I'll get a little more in distance.

I sent Ed the pictures of the 2 bats. I'll try to figure out how to post it on Softball Fans. Winky just sent me an email stating we are attending the TOC in FEB. I'm not worried about the Dudley bats. The big cat is my gamer at the moment.
