| Aug. 26 batguyaz 134 posts | New Rip-IT "ELITE" We can use the Rip It Elite here in Az and I understand that in Southern California as well. I think each tournament is a 'ask and see' for use. We are using the demo from the factory guy and most of the players in Scottsdale are getting one. Good feel and balance, major pop and so far is holding far better than the U2. |
| Aug. 26 salio2k Men's 60 547 posts | New Rip-IT "ELITE" batguyaz.........I'm in Southern California.........haven't seen any 'ask and see' tournaments. It's either ASA, NSA or SSUSA. Your rip it may last longer than my U2, but at least I can use it in tournaments like SSUSA, SPA and LVSSA. |

| Aug. 27 goseniors! 3 posts | New Rip-IT "ELITE" I have heard that this new bat is somewhat like the ULTRA II. Even though the Ultra II has that 1.2 sticker, there is NO WAY that bat passes the test. It seems like more leagues are folding to demand from players to use the Ultra II. Even the SSWC is allowing it now. I have a feeling the same thing is going to happen with the Rip-It Elite, which I guess might explain what batguyaz is talking about. |
| Aug. 27 boston Men's 60 355 posts | New Rip-IT "ELITE" I have finally broken down and bought a U11 for senior play. I am very pleased w/ the results. Although I do question its durability having seen my teammates go through several over the past couple of years. I do find it hard to believe there are bats better than the U11. Are the rip it elite or the combat/anaconda that much better or equal to the U11? If so I would purchase whichever were legal in senior ball. Just for the durability factor. |

What "fun" could be had with a bat that you can't use in a tournament? At least you spent your money on a bat that you can use. |
| Aug. 27 batguyaz 134 posts | New Rip-IT "ELITE" As they say on the field, 'my bad'...the leagues that we can use the Rip It and the leagues in So Cal are senior pick up leagues. Not ASA or any other assoc.... This week, if I see the Rip It guy, I will ask him about this and let you guy's know. |
| Aug. 27 batguyaz 134 posts | New Rip-IT "ELITE" One more point. I will use the Rip It for pick up games, batting pactice and other events when allowed to. Saving my U2 for tournaments and such....Note the post of is the Rip It better than the U2...in my opinion it is better all the way around. |
| Aug. 28 boston Men's 60 355 posts | New Rip-IT "ELITE" There is no way I would buy a bat I couldn't use in tournaments. So the Rip-It is out of the question. What about the new Combat/Anaconda? Where does it stand w/ the U11? Again, I love the feel and swing of my U11. But, I worry about the durability. So if the new Combat/Anaconda can stand up to the U11 in pop and distance but w/ more durabilty. I will try it. |
| Aug. 29 goseniors! 3 posts | New Rip-IT "ELITE" I see your ponit Boston, but even if the bat is not allowed in tournaments, I am going to buy one to use as my practice bat so I don't wear out my UII. If this new bat has the kind of durability that people are saying it does, it will save me from having to buy a new UII every 100 hits. Now my UII can be for games only, and may actually last me a season for once. |
