Eligibility Rules to play 50+
I have some friends coming up in age that are interested in playing 50's but I couldn't remember when they would actually be eligible.

For Example: My understanding is that if they turn 49 on July 1, 2013, they can play the rest of 2013 and on. Is that right?

Must turn 50 in 2013 to be elgible. You may play in 2013 Winter Nationals if you turn 50 in 2014.

You are partially correct as far as you stated. However, anyone who turns 50 years old at any time during 2013 is already eligible to play Senior Softball, and they have been eligible since last October when the 2013 Tournament Season began with the Cape May, NJ Qualifier.
