Sept. 3 TexasTransplant Men's 70 516 posts | I just checked the 10-day forecast for Seattle and see that the highs will be in the mid-seventies. The forecast high for Saturday is only 70. That means that morning temperatures could well be in the high 50's and low 60's. for some of us, these are late season FOOTBALL temperatures. Seriously, are there bats that will not tolerate those temperatures? I'm specifically concerned about the UII and DeMarini 375. |

Aluminum bats more at risk than composite bats in cooler temp. Really warm temps can wrap composite bats internal walls if left out in the direct sunlight for long periods. Most of us seniors don’t use aluminum bats and the temps well be mild so bats should not be at risk in my opinion here in Greater Seattle.
