Sept. 5 Lecak Men's 60 1026 posts | I thought I would post, I'm feeling good, all my preemptive tests show I'm healthy, my legs feel great, I'm having a good season of ball playing as much as I care to. Family is healthy, finances are in order. Seattle seems like a nice place to visit I have never been there, hopefully I'll make some new friends. I'm just glad somebody takes the time and effort to organize these events because I wouldn't,and I would not have any outlet for my competitve side, I like golf but not that much. I don't care who is on the field as long as they show respect and play hard, if they are older than me and beat me I will try and figure out what they are doing right and copy it. |

Sept. 5 Gary Heifner 248 posts | Good post. My wife and I have never been in Seattle and we are looking forward to it. I play for the Chicago Classics 60s Gray. We have one guy with 2 rods in his leg, one with a metal hip and between "5" others of us. we total 23 by- passes. Success for us is sometimes seeing everybody still alive at the end of the game. There are times we are awesome and times we are a joke. But, we all love the game, are total softball junkies and enter as many tournaments as we physically handle. If everyone keeps working out and stays healthly, we think we have a great shot at winning it all in the 80 and over division in 18 years. |
