Mavericks, put Northwest Master in the loser bracket.
Northwest Master beat Cal Thunder in the loser bracket.
In the Champion game, Mavericks beat NW Master. This is the Maverick's 2nd World. GOOD LUCK to all in Palm Springs.

I played against Thunder and the Northwest team
in Salem and they are both terrific clubs.
To have won it, Seacrest must indeed,
be a very good team.
Congratulations to the Mavericks.
See you all in Palm Springs.

Hey guys,
I just heard a couple of rumor-stories
regarding an illegal bat that was confiscated
in the Major Plus tournament.
Anybody know what that was about?

I heard one of the teams in Major plus
had a bat confiscated that seemed tampered with.
If it's determined that the bat was altered
there should be a HUGE and obvious consequence
or set of consequences to both the team
and the guy.
If illegal bats are truly bad things because they create an unfair advantage and can hurt people
these are eggregious offenses that should
be punished accordingly.
I for one am waiting to hear how this one turns out.

Sorry guys.
The word is spelled egregious and it means
outstandingly bad.

When you have to explain what your words mean, I think it time to stop using them. Who do you think you are, Einstein? Ooops, you are.

The use of an illegal bat in SSUSA seems almost anti-climatic given that the UII is being used. Short of a bazooka how would one go about even figuring out which bat to look at. At the tournaments not allowing UII I would think this would be a major concern. I get a chance to play at some D level and C level with the young guys and I would believe anything when it came to altered equipment. It is my contention that the Easton equipment is being altered the most with the open age groups.

The bat in question, was taken away from the pitcher @ the end of the tournament. This bat in qustion, was an EASTON BAT, (blue & silver) that was ASA approved. In other words, a 98. The player in question was hitting bombs. As informed by several 50 Major Plus Players, this guy never did that in the past.

GOOD LUCK.........Hope to c u'll in Palm Springs

Never did that in the past? This guy has been hitting bombs like that in the A, AA and Major classifications for the last 20 years. Besides that this is his first year playing 50 plus and he's only played in 5 tournaments, So if you think this guy hasen't been hitting the puss out of the ball you haven't been watching the game!
