I, bashbro1, personally took some 449 pictures to share with you all during the 2-weeks SSUSA triumvirate of Terry Hennessey along with Fran and Dave Dowell spent in Seattle for the 2006 SSUSA Worlds. Great job they did in my opine! Note: bashbro1 lives and resides just across the street from the Russell Road Softball Complex located in Kent, WA. The pics depict the start of the 50’s/55’s session #1 in a bright sunlight greenery, with 80-degree temps most days, that changed mercurially to the deluge that hit the area just as Session #3 (60’s Men along with 40’s Men and all Women’s classification) began on Thursday morning Sept. 14th having the triumvirate Terry, Fran and Dave scrambling successfully getting tournament in and back on schedule. A couple a days or so of the starting with a 1&1 count on the batter which few like, but had to get through it and you guys know the drill. After all, it the rain that did come at such an inopportune time for us did end a record streak of dry and hot weather the Seattle area since Chief Seattle himself was the local weather guy. Here is the link to the SSUSA World pics and other pics of NW Senior Softball since 2002.
